Fire Element
Let's get into the qualities of Fire Element!
FIRE is hot, active, sharp, loud, rapid, spreading, spicy, passionate, and joyful.
Fire is Desire! The Main Central Vertical flow in JSJ is related to OUR DESIRE TO BE!
The season of fire is Summer.
In the physical body, fire is represented by the heart and small intestine function, as well as the vascular and skeletal systems. You can hear Fire element in the pulse as a loud pounding BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...BOOM. This is often the pulse of the person who is always Efforting to get things done.
In astrology, Fire is the sun and the light that shines forth. The signs of Aries ("I Am"), Leo ("I Will"), and Sagittarius ("I Seek"), are all Fire signs – they all represent action, energy, confidence, and courage. The planet Mars, whose key phrase is, "My capacity to act and assert myself based on personal desire", also expresses the qualities of Fire.
The third chakra, the solar plexus, has the vibration of Fire Element and represents the internal fire of personal power, laughter, and joy.
The Fire personality is the "life of the party." Fire personalities are loving, big hearted, passionate, and have a zest for life. They are demonstrative and playful, fun and exciting. They are natural performers (know any Leo's who fit this description?) and often appear as if lit from within. Since they live very much in the present moment, they can also be impulsive.
“Out of balance Fire can manifest as pretense (trying to be someone you are not) and trying too hard to please. “Over-doers” have a strong Fire element.”
If your Fire is balanced, you live in ease, have an open heart, and laugh readily.
You live in the moment without judging, comparing, competing, or labeling.
Out of balance Fire, however, can manifest as pretense (trying to be someone you are not) and trying too hard to please. "Over-doers" have a strong Fire element.
“I’m trying to do what you want me to do!”
They may ask, “How can I do more?” and “What do I have to do to please you?”
Other physical indications that Fire element is out of balance include red face, feeling hot, heart palpitations, anxiety (even panic), cardiovascular projects, bone projects, small intestine projects, pounding pulse, and/or autoimmune projects.
An over abundance of Fire for too long can cause burn-out, so getting to know and monitor the Fire element in ourselves is one of the secrets to longevity. It is equally important for us to realize when we could use MORE Fire in our lives. Without enough Fire, we might be bored, despondent, isolated and hopeless! We must continually ask ourselves, "What fires me up?" and "What sparks joy in my life?"
